Bob's Friends is pleased to announce our Scholarship Program. Each year we will add one Scholarship Award.

We are happy to start this year with three Awards. Application process for the scholarships will start in July 2010 for the fall semester.

Gary R. (THE REAL DEAL) Dieleman
Memorial Media Scholarship
June 25, 1955 to November 23, 2007
Gary is remembered as an avid music buff. Gary could give you group, title, and year of about any song from the 60's, 70's, and 80's. He did the news for a radio station in Lexington for a time. He also DJ'd at KKFI, 90.1 FM, in Kansas City. He founded the Real Deal Radio show which aired on Friday nights from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Gary had quite a following on this show. Callers would tune in and call just to chat with Gary. Some of the callers even became friends of Gary. Gary will be rememberd always.This scholarship in honoring Gary will go to anyone who is taking college classes to further their knowledge of Media.

David (Arch) Archuleta
Memorial Arts Scholarship
August 21, 1955 to February 06, 2008
My good friend Arch was a great person. I got to know him through a small group Bible study at KCBT. While I only knew Arch for a short while, he had a major impact on my life. Arch was a faux painter. I got to observe his work and walking up to some of it, it appeared to be a piece of beautiful wood work. I'll never forget riding go-carts with Arch in the Ozarks or having breakfast with him before we both went to work. In honoring Arch, this scholarship will go to anyone who studies ART.

While Bob's Friends donates the money to fund these scholarships. We do appreciate donations. 100% of what you donate will go directly to the scholarships. We take nothing out for administration. Records of donations can be viewed by contacting Bob's Friends. All donations are divided equally between all scholarships unless otherwise requested.
